Weather

Some rain, mist

and strong winds

Starting point : Ardvorlich House Loch Earn GR 633232

The weather again was very misty and wild for the ascent of the the two peaks that overlook Loch Earn. The ascent was not very memorable but an error in the map reading after the ascent of Ben Vorlich added some extra time to day to retrace footsteps in the mist. Again the camera did not make a significant  appearance.

Weather

Good weather and visibility

Starting point : Glen Nednock car park

The isolate hill of Ben Chonzie was completed very late on in my Munro campaign - it always seemed to drop off the list of peaks to do for some reason. Could also be the fact that the mountain has no notable features other than the long broad ridge used to climb it. The short route to the summit was taken with much of the walk covered by a track. After branching away from the track a path leads across the moorland to the cairn at the summit. The a fast run down back to the car completed one of the last few Munros finally.
